More than 90 bus trips were cancelled yesterday afternoon,

A notice, published on the Government web portal, listed 92 cancelled buses, all of which were scheduled to leave between 3.15pm and 6.30pm.

No official reason was given for the high number of cancellations.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Transport and Regulatory Affairs said: “The cancellations were caused by the ongoing challenges with an old fleet.

“The Department of Public Transportation continues to work to address the underlying issues.”
