Bermuda Day races and parade will impact multiple bus routes tomorrow, the Department of Public Transportation advised.

A spokeswoman said King Street will operate as two-way for buses to access the Hamilton terminal, which will only be accessed from the northern side, from 7.30am until police lift the detour.

All Route No 9 buses will be cancelled during the road closures, while inbound Route No 1 and 7 buses will travel as normal until East Broadway, where they will make a right on Spurling Hill and King Street and head to the terminal via Victoria Street.

Route No 3 buses heading into the city will turn onto King Street via Reid Street and along Victoria Street to the terminal, and outbound buses will reverse this route.

Route No 8 buses entering Hamilton will bypass Strawberry Hill and proceed to Trimingham Hill and via Spurling Hill and King Street to the terminal.

Outbound Route No 8 buses will head to King Street and Reid Street, and resume their regular route after reaching East Broadway via Spurling Hill.

The 8.45am Route No 8 to Hamilton is cancelled, the 7.45am outbound trip will terminate once it reaches TN Tatem Middle School, where the 8.45am trip from the city will remain until receiving clearance to continue.

Inbound Route Nos 4, 10 and 11 buses will head from North Shore Road to Berkeley Hill, St John’s Road, Woodlands Road, Dundonald Street and Washington Street to the central terminal, and outbound buses will reverse this route.
