Ariel Re tournament set to return
The Ariel Re Bermuda International Sevens tournament has been confirmed to return next year and will take place on March 13 and 14.
Since the inception in 2016, the tournament has grown in participation and popularity, with teams from the United States, Canada and a representatives team of Bermuda taking part, with both men and women’s sides competing.
The tournament will again showcase the best in high school and college rugby and will take place at the National Sports Centre. There was double disappointment for Bermuda rugby, as both the men’s and women’s teams suffered defeats in last year’s finals.
Having enjoyed an unbeaten run through the tournament, the Bermuda Stars men’s first team suffered a 10-5 defeat by Norwich Maroon, while the Bermuda Stars women’s team lost to Humber College first team 22-5.
