Swilers, hailing from Newfoundland, Canada, are due to arrive today for a two match tour, the Bermuda national team will tackle Barbados in World Cup qualifying competition April 19 -- not April 20 as previously announced -- and Heriots of Scotland visit in the middle of May.

Saturday will see Swilers tackling Mariners at National Sports Club starting at 5 p.m. and on Tuesday the Bermuda Development Squad stand as opposition.

Heriots will play three matches -- May 18, 20 and 22. All games take place at National Sports Club.

SOFTBALL SOF League champions Warwick Reds handed visiting Molloy College of New York their second tour defeat on Monday at Bernard Park, coming from behind for a 7-6 decision.

Down 6-4 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, Reds rallied on RBI singles from Thea Furbert and Tomeko Steede.

Toni Richardson went three-for-four with two RBIs for the Reds. Molloy stormed back with vengeance in the nightcap against Bermuda Selects, jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the second inning before the local side replied with six runs of their own in the fourth.

However, the visitors produced another outburst in the fourth before rain forced the game's abandonment, giving Molloy an 11-7 victory. Molloy finished their tour with an overall 2-2 record. Sheila Kelly was named MVP for Molloy and Sakena Clarke for Bermuda.

SOCCER SOC Somerset's old boys will be chasing their third straight victory when they take on St. George's in the third over-40s match on April 12 at Garrison Field.

The match is a tribute to the players from the two teams who were members of Bermuda's national team which toured Iceland in the mid-1960s. They were Gilbert Darrell, Russell Knight, Arthur Bean, the late Eddie Wright and Dennis Wainwright of St. George's and Vivian Philpott of Somerset. Also to be honoured will be Sinclair (Toast) Williams, the first St. George's Colts coach and referee Charlie Marshall who will officiate the game. Expected to turn out for Somerset are national coach Clyde Best as well as the likes of George Brangman, Richard Simmons and Larry Hunt while assistant national coach Gary Darrell, `Bubba' Tucker, Noel (Sub) Smith, Charles Swainson and Charlie Fox will play for St. George's.

YOUTH SOCCER SOC Wolves and Dandy Town set themselves up for a showdown in the bantam Knockout final on Saturday at White Hill Field, after semi-final wins on Tuesday night at BAA.

Town came from behind to beat St. George's 4-1 while Wolves had to go to penalty kicks before beat North Village 5-4 in the nightcap. Trailing 1-0 on an early goal by Scarlet Thomas, Town received goals from Jamal Blakeney and Michael Puckerin struck for a 2-1 lead at the half. Second-half goals from Ghengis Thorpe and Shawn Roberts put the match out of the reach.

North Village and Wolves battled to a 2-2 draw at fulltime, with John Barry Nusum scoring twice for Wolves and Devon DeGraffe twice for Village. Sergio Augustus missed a last-minute penalty for Wolves to send the match into penalty kicks. This time Augustus did score as league champions Wolves moved into the final.
