Guest worker injured in crash now ‘stable’

A 28-year-old guest worker left seriously injured after his cycle collided with a car was in a stable condition at the hospital’s intensive care unit at the weekend, according to Police.

Initially described as being critical, the man has remained in the intensive care unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital since the crash, which happened at abnout 6.50pm on July 26, on South Road near Warwick Long Bay.

The accident is being investigated and any remaining witnesses are urged to contact Police on 295-0011.
