Good samaritan is robbed
Police reported yesterday.
The 28-year-old Hamilton Parish woman was riding along Berry Hill Road in Paget about 1 a.m. when she came across a man who appeared to need assistance.
When she stopped, however, the man grabbed her chain necklace.
The woman was able to break free and rode off with the attacker running after her. The man gave a short chase before disappearing in a nearby driveway. The suspect was wearing dark-coloured pants and a dark jacket, and white glasses.
A pizza delivery woman reported she was robbed late on Thursday by three men while she was making a delivery near the Pembroke Community Centre.
The woman reported that while she was being paid by one of the robbers, the other two approached from behind, placed an object around her neck and demanded money. The robbers ran off with the pizza and just under $300.

However, between 15-20 people turned out at PHC field in Warwick shortly after 8 p.m., including one of the four speakers, Mr. Calvin Smith, who claimed he had not been informed of the cancellation.
PLP Leader Mr. Frederick Wade said an advisory had been sent out through the media at about 4 p.m. He said organisers were looking at next Thursday as an alternate date.

Channel America's programming is family entertainment and includes movies, nostalgia shows, exercises and talk shows. VSB 11/Cable 4 will continue to broadcast local news, sports, and weather at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. and the popular shows Donahue and Larry King Live.
BHC TENANTS FACING EVICTION HSG BHC tenants facing eviction A number of Bermuda Housing Corporation tenants face eviction from their homes for allegedly not paying rent.
The corporation has issued writs against them, with sums ranging from $5,084 to $19,054.
"These are people who owe us rent and have not paid for some months,'' said BHC general manager Mr. Tom Wall. "They're unable to make arrangements with us to clear their arrears and we have no other choice but to seek eviction through the courts.
"We hope to recover the rental arrears, and if not to gain possession of the property again.'' People named in the writs are: Reno Drake ($19,054), George Wray ($5,239), Sylvia Pitcher ($7,224), Cecelia Pitt ($5,430), Jane Matthews ($8,613), Mr.
and Mrs. Hadley Tucker ($7,648) and Marianne Dill ($5,084).
OFF TO CANADA CLB Off to Canada Two Salvation Army Boy Scout groups leave the Island next Friday to share some fun and education in Canada.
They are spending a week at a Salvation Army camp in Silkirk, Ontario, where they will participate in camping activities and have fun.
Sightseeing is part of the agenda as well. Group leader Mr. Myron Woolridge plans to take them on an African safari, visit the Ontario Science Centre and see Niagara Falls.
In order to raise money for the trip, the boys sold dinners, held a sale, numerous car washes and put on a gospel concert.
A special church service will be held for the boy scouts tomorrow at the Salvation Army Church in Shelly Bay at 4 p.m.
FIREWORKS DISPLAY EVL Fireworks display A private fireworks display is planned for the Southampton Princess beach at 9 p.m. tonight and another on Hawkins Island tomorrow night between 9:30-9:45 p.m.
