Another summer means another Unité Pink Party at Snorkel Park.

The Best of Bermuda Gold Award Winning Entrepreneur Belcario Thomas spoke to The Royal Gazette about this year's highly anticipated line up of live performances, fashionistas, Top DJs, ambiance and expected thousands in attendance.

"It is where Bermuda meets South Beach and for one Bermudaful night, the Island comes together and celebrates a showcase of the Island at its best," he said of the event.

"Designed and decorated by Designer Flowers and our team, the night will feature several lounge cabanas, teepee huts, cool hang out spots and will be a great big cool Lounge Club on the beach.

"But expect lots and lots of dancing with plenty of great party music from R&B, Rock, Dance remixes, Top 40 mash-ups, Hip Hop, Reggae and Soca!

"The Island's top DJ specialists will be on deck to keep the party going, orchestrated by DJ Chubb alongside Jake & Pappa Lenny, FRISKY, OB1, Kaos, China & Bussy, The Dirkinstan Freedom Fighters, turntablist Deejay Choice, Scoobay, BlackStar, and Awesome hosted by radio personality Vybez Alliance.

Mr. Thomas added that there will also be an exciting, brand new set of live performances early in the evening by The HomeGrown Band with hits by Mac then backing Roachekilla and C'Danger, fresh off Culture Shock will be an early highlight of the night. "They're promising high energy and after seeing them work the crowds at RBYC over the weekend, I've got no doubt it will be," Mr. Thomas added.

"I wouldn't want to miss the 60 model Mambo Sunset Fashion show either, with a $4,000 Mio and CellularONE Pearl Blackberry giveaway, so getting there before 10 p.m. to not miss out would be a really good idea."

Upon entry, patrons will receive two complimentary Goslings cocktails, and with several Goslings speed bars on tap, quick service and cocktail specials will help quench any thirst while hot food will be available all night long.

Part proceeds will benefit the TB & Cancer Association in memory of Belcario, Marico, Bethanne and Marquita's mother, Clara L.L. Thomas, who's favourite colour was pink, and nickname by her husband Fred W. Thomas was "Pinkie" who passed away last year. Last year Unité Promotions and Snorkel Park donated $5,000 in her honour.

To assist in keeping merrymakers safe and well, Mr. Thomas has arranged for fast ferries at 6.30 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. delivering patrons to Dockyard. And then a complimentary 800 person Mega Ferry taking guests back at 3.15 a.m. and 4.15 a.m.

There are limited advance tickets for $50 available at

CellularONE, Reid and Burnaby Streets, Stefanel, the iStore, Music World and Snorkel Park. And $60 at the door.

Dress code tomorrow night is chic with pink recommended.
