Michelle Chanda Trott, daughter of Ms. Winifred Drinkwater-Trott and Mr. Williston Eugene, sister to Robert and his wife Christine Daley, and aunt of Renisha, Jayden Jayden and Christon, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Major in Spanish from Acadia University on May 12.

She obtained a 3.85 G.P.A.. and graduated with a scholarly achievement. She also achieved during her time at Acadia academic honours on three consecutive years.

Michelle is also a graduate of The Berkeley Institute and Francis Patton Primary.

While at Acadia, she was the assistant public relations officer and chairman of the Acadia Caricom Society. She spent a year in Spain mastering the language and receiving a certificate in Spanish studies.

Attending the ceremonies were her mother.

Contributions toward her education at Acadia University in chronological order were made by an Entrance Bursary (2004), the MacDonald Chisholm Scholarship in Business (2005) awarded to the student with the highest average in their business programme for their first year, and the Esther Clark Wright International Student Scholarship (2006) awarded to returning international students.

Awards in Bermuda toward her university education include The Sunlife Assurance Bursury and the Knowledge Quest Scholarship.

She will be working as management trainee at First Bermuda Group.
