Rememberance Day with artist Sam Morse-Brown
inspiration from a private collection of wartime portraits by artist Mr. Sam Morse-Brown.
His collection will be displayed for two weeks beginning on Saturday, November 6 at Cathedral Hall.
Mr. Morse-Brown served as an adjutant with the British Army and saw action in North Africa, the Mediterranean and Italy where he drew a "those who went to war, those who led their troops into battle and those brought to entertain the troops.
"He sketched the victors and the vanquished.'' A Press statement said the portraits have been chosen to reflect the "very broad range of individuals who were called and honourably went to do their duty in war.
"Because the sole purpose of this Exhibition is to contribute towards the commemoration of those who served, those who survived and those who did not,'' admission will be free.
On November 6, Governor Lord Waddington will officially open the Exhibition, which is called "Let US Remember Them''.
Exhibition hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including Remembrance Day.
