Capital G hands out iPods to winning online customers
Capital G's customers realised the benefit of banking online - by winning iPods at a prize giving reception held at Capital G's offices on Wednesday.
Nine of the bank's clients proved to be the lucky recipients, with five iPod Nanos handed out to customers who registered for Capital G Bank's online banking service between September 3 and October 5.
They included Alexander Arnfield, Bryan Butterfield, Sharry Hall, Brenda Mclean and D'vonne Ramsay.
Meanwhile, four iPod Shuffles were given to customers that utilised the online banking service to make a bill payment or wire transaction between September 17 and October 31. They were David Bobb, Elizabeth Gosling, Carolyn Saganski and Darren Showers.
All iPod recipients were randomly selected from the pool of eligible participants.
"We are very pleased with the results of the online banking promotion," stated Richard Doughty, Capital G Bank executive vice-president & chief operating officer. "We have seen a tremendous growth in enrollment and usage of the service during the past three months," continued Mr. Doughty.
Capital G launched its online banking service in November 2006 in accordance with its strategy to evolve its personalised suite of banking products and services to meet the demands of consumers in Bermuda.
"We recognise that people want alternative delivery channels for their banking services. Our goal is to provide consumers with convenient, modern and superior customer service in the form in which they desire them," stated Ian Truran, executive vice-president & chief relationship management officer for Capital G Bank.
The advantages of CapGonline.com is that it is an easy to use, secure, 24-hour online banking service, with some of the main features of the system including free local bank transfers, bill payments, email and mobile phone alerts and international wire transactions.
