Jennings is spot on to net points for Village
Goal hero Wilson showed signs during the early stages that he should be watched closely, forcing Gibbons to palm his 16-yard drive away for a corner after getting a pass from the ambitious Kenny Mills, with the game just 13 minutes old.
However Southampton never allowed their opponents to take the complete initiative with their best player Ascento Russell always a threat to the defence with his forceful runs.
Russell came closest to scoring in the opening half, watching in anguish as his shot from 15 yards rocketed off the post after he brilliantly dribbled around two defenders.
The Zebras experienced some bad luck after 62 minutes when Chris Furbert's blast from 18 yards skimmed off the top edge of the bar, but their fortunes changed 11 minutes later when Wilson found the mark.
In one of the most adventurous moves of the game, Mills came away with just praise from the fans when he deserved more for his tremendous efforts.
With two minutes left he gained position near the half-way line, dribbled past two defenders but his shot was brilliantly tipped around the post by the diving Gibbs.

St. David's dominated the first 45 minutes but could not find the finishing touch to many fine moves. And they were left to rue their misses as Colts delivered a sucker punch, just minutes before half-time to send them into the break 1-0 ahead, a scoreline which flattered them.
Worrell Bean of St. David's created many early chances, shooting over from a fifth minute corner and then forcing Colts keeper Troy Hall to hold a rasping shot at the second attempt.
Again Bean's persistence brought opportunity, but after jinking through the defence, he lobbed the keeper and unfortunately the crossbar, too.
On the half hour he looked sure to score, being put through one-on-one with the Hall but blasted his shot at the keeper.
Colts' Ricky Saltus delivered the cruel blow just four minutes before half-time, after St. David's keeper Sidney Minors hit a goal kick straight at him. Saltus had time to control the ball, advance and slot it into the empty net.
Colts came out for the second period looking more confident and composed and nearly doubled the lead within minutes of the restart. Keeper Minors redeeming himself with a fine save from Zuill.
But Zuill made no mistake shortly after when Wayne Henry crossed for him to head home unheeded.
Ten minutes later he converted a similar chance, with St. David's defenders failing to get close as he nodded a corner in.
St. David's kept on battling away, with Shane Weeks, Lionel Cann and Worrell Bean working hard. And they nearly got their reward when substitute Rudell Pitcher, free on the right side of the box, shot over from a good angle.
Zuill sealed the victory seven minutes from the end, after a clever through ball put him clear to shoot low into the far corner.

Men of the match: Aljame Zuill (Colts), Lionel Cann (St. David's Social Club 0 Ir.Rangers 5 Ireland Rangers took over sole possession of first place in the First Division's lone match yesterday at Bernard Park as Social Club suffered their second straight 5-0 mauling.
Rangers, who have sent out a clear message that they should be taken seriously in the battle for the lone promotion spot, are the only team in the top two divisions with a perfect record. They are also yet to concede their first goal after three matches of the new season.
Jermaine Saltus opened the scoring for them after 10 minutes and Terrence Bean made it 2-0 in the 34th minute. Michael Mendes extended the lead further in the 59th before two defensive blunders resulted in the two more goals coming in the final six minutes.
Former Somerset Trojans player Duane DeRosa scored the fourth in the 84th minute after his shot from outside the box bounced past the Social Club goalkeeper at the near post.
Then after Social Club defender Andre Woods was booked for a bad challenge on DeRosa, he was robbed by Jerome Codrington in the 89th minute and he beat the 'keeper with his near post shot.
Fancy trick: PHC forward Stephen Astwood (right) shows some clever footwork, when challenged by Southampton's Jason Raynor.
