UPDATE: Namibia v Bermuda
Day two - as it happened
11.13am: Namibia have beaten Bermuda by eight wickets, they knocked off the runs with 20.5 overs still left to bowl. Sarel Burger is unbeaten on 58, and Namibia end on 156-2.
11.11am: It’s all over. The players are back out, for just two balls. That’s how long it takes Namibia to get the five runs needed for victory.
10.49am: After playing in the rain for five minutes, and with Namibia five runs from victory the players run from the field. What a farce.
10.47am: This is silly. It’s absolutely throwing it down. Namibia need just 16 runs to win and they’re staying out there. They might as well call the game now, the result’s not going to change.
10.39am: It’s started to rain, and Williams has taken the batting power-play. Obviously feels the game has lasted long enough.
10.38am: Namibia 126-2. Sarel Burger pounds Trott for another huge six, and the home side are just 30 runs from victory.
10.36am: Dropped. Jordan Desilva drops Namibia skipper Craig Williams on the square leg boundary. At 117-2, the wicket wouldn’t have changed the outcome, but it says everything about Bermuda’s fielding on this tour.
10.26am: Sarel Burger scores his second 50 in two days. This one has come off 59 balls, and included three fours, and a six. Namibia 106-2, need 50 from 26.4 overs.
10.24am: Namibia 102-2. Sarel Burger brings up the hundred with a huge six off Trott. Only a case of how long it takes for the home side to win now.
10.11am: Namibia 90-2. Twenty overs gone and the home side need 66 to win, there are some rain clouds threatening, but it would be a travesty if the weather saved Bermuda from another defeat.
10.02am: Wicket. Gerhard Rudolph tries to sweep Rodney Trott, but sends the ball flying high into the air, and Jekon Edness scrambles to take a flying catch on the leg side. Rudolph made 36, Namibia are 76-2.
9.49am: Namibia 63-1. There’s very little to suggest that Namibia won’t complete their third comprehensive win of the tour. Less than a hundred runs needed and Justin Pitcher aside, none of Bermuda’s bowlers look particularly threatening.
9.34am: Namibia 50-1. Sarel Burger and Gerhard Rudolph are looking comfortable out there. The home side need 106 to win, with 38 overs remaining.
9.07am: We’re back after lunch. Namibia are 19-1, chasing 156 to win. Sarel Burger, who made 91 yesterday, joins Gerhard Rudolph at the crease.
8.29am: Wicket, and that’s lunch. Justin Pitcher bowls Raymond van Schoor to give his side a boost heading into the break. Namibia are 19-1 with 5.4 overs gone, chasing 156 to win.
8.04am: Jordan Desilva will bowl the first over for Bermuda. He and Malachi Jones have to give it all they’ve got in this brief spell before lunch.
8.02am: Quick turnaround and the players are back out on the field. There’s 25 minutes until the scheduled lunch break, and so Bermuda will have a chance to make an early breakthrough.
7.53am: Wicket. opening bowler Olewagen returns to the attack and brings Jones' resistance to an end. The Bermuda bowler looks to charge a slower ball and ends up yorking himself. Jones made 25, and Bermuda are all out for 155.
7.46am: Wicket. Desilva plays down the wrong line and is clean bowled by Williams. Desilva scored 20 valuable runs, and stuck around for 33 balls.
7.40am: Jones and Desilva see Bermuda past 150, impressive effort from the pair, who have batted far more sensibly than some of the batsmen in the side.
7.20am: Thirty overs gone and Bermuda are 126-8, it’ all about batting for as long as possible right now. Malachi Jones and Jordan Desilva seem settled so far, but with all the batsmen failing, any score over 150 now will be a bonus.
6.55am: Wicket. Two balls after Justin Pitcher brings up the hundred with a big six, he goes for another big hit off Sarel Burger and is caught at long-off by Louis Burger. 104-7
6.39am: Wicket. No big innings from Irving Romaine today as he slashes at a ball short and wide outside off stump and is caught at second slip. This game could be over very quickly. Bermuda 80-6.
6.28am: Wicket. Outerbridge wafts at a ball outside off stump and is caught behind for 22. Bermuda 76-4, 19 overs gone.
6.21am: Stephen Outerbridge and Jekon Edness have steadied the ship and are looking solid. After he first couple of let offs, Outerbridge is looking in good nick, as is Edness, who has batted well on tour so far, but has been getting himself out in silly fashion. Bermuda 73-3.
6.02am: Wicket. Sarel Burger replaces Andre Olewagen for the start of the 14 over. and gets David Hemp first ball. Hemp is out pushing forward, Bermuda 60-3.
Bermuda are lucky to still only be three, down Hemp and Outerbridge have both been dropped in the past few overs.
5.46am: Ten overs gone, and Bermuda are 39-2, and they should be three down. Outerbridge is dropped in the slips by Louis Burger. Namibia aren’t bowling that well, out of Bermuda’s total, 15 have been wides.
5.36am: Wicket. Another run out, that’s three too many on tour for Bermuda. Hemp lofts the ball towards the mid-off boundary and he and Foggo run two, Hemp is going for a third, Foggo hesitates, and is run out despite a full-length dive. 35-2.
5.18am: Wicket. An over after Chris Foggo is dropped by Sarel Burger at mid-off, Crockwell is out caught and bowled by Christie Viljoen. Bermuda 21-1, five overs gone.
4.56am: Christie Viljoen opens the bowling for Namibia, and Fiqre Crockwell is off the mark, first ball. Good solid opening over from Viljoen, and plenty of short stuff aimed at Chris Foggo.
4.30am: Bermuda win the toss, again, that makes David Hemp 4-0 for the tour. This time Hemp opts to bat, maybe taking into account the problems with the rain yesterday. Remember, batting second, Bermuda were forced to start in the rain on a damp pitch.
4.15am: Were back at Gemsbokpark in Windhoek for the second one day game between Namibia and Bermuda. Both sides have made changes to their line-ups.
For Bermuda, bowler Stefan Kelly, who has a slight back problem, is left out, along with Shannon Rayner, and in their place, Jim West and Jordan Desilva get their first starts of the tour.
Namibia meanwhile have opted to drop the Groenewald brothers Willem and Pieter, and bring back Louis Burger and Andre Olenwagen.
