The pair were flagged down by the girl while she was with her suspected attacker, Police say.

The girl was in an obviously distressed state, said Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning yesterday.

"It is believed a conversation took place between the foursome before the two youths rode away,'' he said.

The youths were riding on a section of the Railway Trail between Lantana and Sound View Road at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, he said, adding that the youths were not suspected of any wrongdoing. The youths should contact Det. Con.
