Ban books, not braids

I do not think schools should control a child's wearing of braids or locks. This may be a harmless, acceptable expression of their culture; is not rare to Bermuda, and does not impose on the curriculum or anyone else. That said, I do agree with the main point of "End of Story" printed on December 10.

Dear Sir,
I do not think schools should control a child's wearing of braids or locks.
This may be a harmless, acceptable expression of their culture; is not rare to Bermuda, and does not impose on the curriculum or anyone else.
That said, I do agree with the main point of "End of Story" printed on December 10.
Many parents feel strongly against the Harry Potter books.
I am one.
So, I support the principals who exclude the books from their curriculum.
Obviously, many oppose my view, that is your right.
But, like "End of Story" said, your kids can read it in their own time.
That is, after they have a little "harmless" fun with Dungeons and Dragons.
Hey - as long as they're reading.
