FRONTLINE SELLS TANKERS FOR $40M SHI Frontline sells tankers for $40m Bermuda-registered shipping company Frontline has sold two very large crude carriers to an undisclosed buyer for an en-bloc price of $104 million.

The VLCCs, both built in 1993, were acquired by Frontline in June, 2000 for $45 million each and have been trading successfully. In addition to the gain on the sale the tankers will have contributed about $22 million to the company's net income since their purchase. Their sale is part of the company's continuous fleet renewal and will improve Frontline's cash position by more than $40 million.

In a separate announcement, the company said holders of its warrants have exercised 1,635,130 warrants and in exchange for the proceeds of $2,601,492 Frontline has issued 163,513 shares. After this transaction the total number of outstanding shares is 77,138,816 and the total number of outstanding warrants is 24,281,764.

ZURICH ENERGY TAQKES ON MARINE BUC Zurich Energy takes on marine Zurich North America's Global Energy business unit has incorporated the organisation's Marine Group to form a restructured entity known as Zurich Global Energy and Marine.

The change at the Global Energy unit -- which has a Bermuda affiliate -- coincides with a larger reorganisation at Zurich North America, which has combined its US and Canadian commercial property and casualty businesses into a new entity known as Zurich North America.

"At a time when there is considerable turmoil in the marine marketplace which translates into consolidations and closures, Zurich Global Energy and Marine has a tremendous opportunity. Our underwriting talent and global reach, combined with exemplary claims and risk engineering services, positions us well to provide stability for our important client base,'' said Pete Connors, president and chief executive of Zurich Global Energy and Marine.

In connection with the restructuring, Roy E. Salley has been named Director of Marine Operations. Based in New York, he will be responsible for all Marine business. Previously, he was executive vice president of ACE USA Marine, where he managed national underwriting and loss control for the Ocean and Recreational Marine lines of business. Before that, he spent 27 years with CIGNA Property & Casualty (the predecessor company of ACE USA).

VOYAGER DROPS BSX MEMBERSHIP BUC Voyager drops BSX membership Voyager Financial Services has withdrawn as a trading member of the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The BSX said the withdrawal will be effective immediately.
