• On average 800 drug seizures and 500 drug related arrests are made every year

• In 2006 Police seized approximately 1043 pounds of cannabis; 11 pounds of cocaine; 12 pounds of cannabis resin; 118 cannabis plants; five pounds of diamorphine and 20,373 methamphetamine pills.

• In 2006-2007 $14.8 million was spent on demand and supply reduction activity. It is expected it will cost more than $19 million this year.
