Allstate's CEO quits

NEW YORK (Bloomberg) — Allstate Corp., the biggest publicly traded US home and auto insurer, said James Hohmann, president and chief executive officer of Allstate Financial, is leaving on January 5.
George Ruebenson, president of the home and auto unit, will be the interim replacement while a search is conducted, the Northbrook, Illinois-based company said yesterday in a statement on Business Wire.
