Elliott Primary school when he finished with a 7-0 record.

The tournament involved the top eight players from the Bank of Butterfield League but Frost was in a class of his own, sweeping all opponents before him without dropping a game.

Darron Trott finished runner-up with a 6-1 record while defending champion Dave Waltham (4-3) finished third and Monique Ternier fourth with an identical record but having lost to Waltham in their head-to-head clash.

The biggest upset of the tournament saw Ternier edge number two player in the league, Dennis Pearman, 24-22, 15-21, 23-21.

Frost was devastating during his unbeaten streak as four of his seven opponents -- Ternier, Frederick, Waltham and Lindo -- failed to reach 10 points in either game. Trott was the only player to stretch Frost in both games. In one of the most exciting games of the day Rawle Frederick defeated team-mate Myron Piper 21-33, 21-14, 23-21.

League champions Old Colony Club completed the double last week, defeating BPSA 6-3 in the Challenge Cup final.

Frost dominated his three opponents in singles matches and then assisted Waltham to win a vital doubles match.

BPSA had tied it 3-3 with Piper's straight sets win over Lindo but Waltham held off Ternier 21-8, 22-20 to put OCC in the lead to stay.

With Frost scheduled to represent OCC in the ninth and final match, the preceding doubles game became a must-win situation for BPSA. But Frost and Waltham easily defeated Piper and Ternier 21-13, 21-13.

Then Frost sealed the victory by beating Piper 21-10, 21-13.
