Robert Darrell led Mackerel with the men's second high series of 583 on games of 189, 198 and 196 in a 31 -1 win over Hinds. Bertie Lines sparked Hinds with a 505 series in the losing cause.
Dolphins topped Angel Fish 3-1 powered by Dwayne Lewis's 518 series.
The Rockfish and Cow Pollies match ended in a draw with Bruce Benevides leading the Rockfish with a 551 series while Barbara Smith was spiriting the Pollies with an even 500 and women's second high game of 201.
The highest scoring match of the night saw Snappers roll over Whahoo taking three of the four points with a 3,044 team series. Arthur Flood led Snappers with men's third high series of 556 and a 221 games with Ann Mitchell producing women's high series and game -- 535 and 207.
Doug Hines spearheaded the Whahoo's efforts with men's top series and game, a 615 and 232 and third game 222.
Barracuda and Marlins battled it out with Barracuda eventually gaining the edge with a 3-1 victory. Prudy Spriggs led the Barracuda attack with a 503 while Marj Correia bowled women's second high series of 521 for the Marlins.
Tuna and Piranhas ended their match in a 2-2 draw despite the valiant efforts of Marie Frith tying for women's second high series honours with a 521.
VOLLEYBALL VOL Mark Bell and Andrew Soares won the first Two-Man Beach Volleyball Tournament with an 11-6, 8-11, 11-5 victory over Wes Toavs and Dan Voth in a gruelling final at Horseshoe Beach last week.
Tied for third were the teams of Mark Hamilton and Mark Monaghan and Richard Bruno and Scott Suddaby.
In the women's division, Wendy Cummings and Kim Winter-Bean outlasted Lisa Dragon and Elisa Stubbs 8-11, 11-6, 13-11.
The men's B division title was won by Rob Salmon and Paul Zuccarini over Din Wingard and Greg Pender.
The next event will be a co-ed tournament held on Saturday at Shelly Bay field.
