Cleveland County 104
St. David's 105-7
A solid all-round performance by Chris Douglas enabled defending champions St. David's to win their third successive match in the Twenty/20 League at Lord's on Saturday.
The Bermuda national team youngster first turned in a devastating spell of bowling to prevent Cleveland from reaching a decent total, and then opened the innings with a top score of 30 to lead the Islanders to a three-wicket victory.
Douglas' haul of three wickets for two runs off two overs, including a maiden, floored the visitors who crumbled in 17.3 overs.
Also among the wicket-takers for the East Enders were Landro Minors who snatched three for six off 1.3 overs and Justin Pitcher who collected two for 18 off four overs.
With Douglas leading the way, St. David's raced to victory in 14.1 overs despite losing seven wickets on the way.
Graison McCallan hit an unbeaten 19 and Landro Minors contributed 13 and McLaren Lowe 10.
Dennis Musson Jr. was the leading bowler for Cleveland with two for 13 off 3.1 overs while Macai Young took two for 19 off three.
Western Stars 36
Police 39-1
Home side Western Stars showed just how little interest there is among their players at this late stage of the season when just six turned up for this contest at St. John's Field.
As such, a full Police contigent found little resistance and demolished their opponents in 11.2 overs.

Dennis Archer led the Police bowlers with four wickets for seven runs from three overs while Nigel Gittens returned one for two from 2.2 overs.
Police required a mere five overs to snatch the win with Anderson Cumberbatch finishing undefeated on 22.
Leg Trappers 94
Bailey's Bay 42-1
Bailey's Bay eased to a comfortable nine-wicket win in this rain affected game at Sea Breeze Oval.
In a match reduced to 16 overs a side, Bay kept Trappers to less than a hundred, with Noel Gibbons (three for nine) and Rodney Trott (three for six) the pick of the bowlers.
Only stiff resistance from Mike Toyer (23) and Dave Martin (32 no) gave the visitors' innings an air of respectability, but 94 was never likely to be enough against a Bay side containing Trott, Stephen Outerbridge, Irving Romaine and Terryn Fray.
In the end, the rain made the home side's task easier still, having reached 15 for one off the first two overs.
An hour's delay left Bay with a revised target of 40, leaving Trott and Outerbridge needing to score 25 off four overs.
They managed it in just 2.4 overs.
