Parish player is banned for a year

Hamilton Parish Master's League player Clarkie Darrell nas been suspended for 12 months after being found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute

Bermuda Football Association's (BFA) disciplinary committee handed out rulings for a number of players this week.

Darrell was bought up in front of the committee for actions during a Premier Division match between Southampton Rangers and Parish in November.

Other offences included foul and abusive language towards the referee and threatening a match official.

The club was also fined $300 for failing to control their player.

Another club, Southampton Rangers, were also fined $500 for failing to control members of their Professional Development League team in October at Southampton Oval.

The incident saw their players hurl bottles and other objects at Boulevard Blazers players as they made their way out of the venue.

The committee fined Rangers $300 for failing to control their players and an additional $200 because of the seriousness of the case.

Dandy Town player Koeshon Smith was handed a four-match suspension and placed on 12-month probation for bringing the game into disrepute and using foul and abusive language towards the referee in a match Town game against St. David's in January.
