Heavy losses for Bermuda
Championships after latest defeats to Trinidad and Tobago and Antigua made it four straight reversals.
On Tuesday night, Trinidad and Tobago hammered Bermuda 87-14, having taking early control with a 26-3 lead in the first quarter, which was extended to a 46-7 lead by the half.
Last night, in what was regarded their worst performance, Bermuda went down 61-19 to Antigua.
Bermuda held their own briefly in the first quarter but lost their edge towards the end when they trailed 15-6.
According to team official Debra Saltus, two of Bermuda's outstanding players so far in the tournament have been Sherrita Steede who has played as goal keeper in the last two games, and Dion Butterfield at wing defence and centre.
No games are scheduled for today because of a shooting competition and Bermuda's next match will be tomorrow against Dominica.
There are nine teams in the tournament and Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and Barbados, who tied for first last year, are again the three main contenders for the title.
Trinidad and Tobago beat St. Vincent 44-42 last night.
