The Atlantis will be conducting research in Island's waters
Meyer Agencies spokesman Stephen Paynter reported that the research vessel Atlantis arrived in Bermuda on June 5.
The ship, that is part of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Massachusetts, will be conducting research in the waters surrounding the Island.
It is presently docked in St. George's and will be on the Island until June 20.
The Stride arrived at the Esso Oil Docks to discharge fuel on June 8 and left the next day.
Spokesman for John S. Darrell, Richard King, reported that the refrigerator ship Electra from Rotterdam, Norway made an unplanned stop in Dockyard yesterday.
The ship that stopped for repairs is scheduled to leave on June 13.
The regular cruise ships brought more than 6,000 passengers to the Island this week.
The Dreamward arrived in St. George's on Monday morning with 1292 passengers.
It shifted to Hamilton on Tuesday and will return to New York today.
The Norwegian Cruise Line has plans for the ship to be stretched early next year.
The construction will create 250 new cabins providing 1,750 berths.
The NCL has also decided to rename five of its ships using the prefix "Norwegian''.
The Dreamward 's new name will be the Norwegian Dream .
The Zenith which arrived in Hamilton on Monday, shifted to St. George's yesterday.
It is carrying 1360 passengers and will return to New York today.
The Meridian also docked in St. George's yesterday after travelling from Philadelphia.
It was carrying 1124 passengers and will sail on Friday afternoon.
The Song of America arrived in St. George's on Tuesday and shifted to Hamilton yesterday.
The ship which carried 1490 passengers will be leaving on Friday.
The Royal Majesty arrived on Tuesday with 1107 passengers and will also depart on Friday.
The container ship Bermuda Islander from Salem, New Jersey docked in Hamilton on Monday morning.
It was carrying one boat and 105 containers, nine which were refrigerated.
It left the Island on Tuesday morning.
The Somers Isles arrived in Bermuda Monday afternoon from Fernandina, Florida.
On board was 15 bundles of lumber, pipe and steel, one boat and 82 containers, 11 which were refrigerated.
The Oleander arrived on Sunday and sailed on Tuesday.
It brought 181 containers -- 41 which were refrigerated -- three maffis, a 45-foot trailer and six cars to the Island.
