tomorrow night when the National Football Awards Association host their second annual awards ceremony at the Hamilton Princess Hotel (8.00 p.m.).

Last year saw Dandy Town's Carlos Smith walk away with the Most Valuable Player award, while Quincy Aberdeen of Devonshire Colts was voted Most Valuable Young Player and Mark Trott rated the best coach. However, none of that trio are up for honours this year.

The two leading contenders in the senior player category appear to be Dwight Warren of newly-crowned league champions Boulevard and Reggie Tucker of Somerset. Others in the running include Darron Simons (Dandy Town) and Andre Hendrickson (Somerset).

In the young player category all four candidates have a legitimate shot, with not much to choose between either.

Nominated are Jahmah Samuels (Devonshire Colts), Nakia Smith (North Village), Dano Outerbridge (PHC) and Lamual Crofton (Somerset).

Among the coaches, John Rebello of FA Cup champions Vasco stands alongside Somerset's Josef Gooden, Gary Darrell of Southampton Rangers and St. George's' Neil Paynter.

Other awards will go to Referee of the Year, leading goalscorer -- in each division -- and women's Player of the Year.
