Bermudian Dr. Donna Durham-Pierre will also speak about the causes of skin pigmentation disorders during the highlight of the Corange Ltd. Week at the College.

Dr. Durham-Pierre has earned international renown for her studies in albinism and vitiligo in Africa and in the United States.
The lecture will be of interest to anyone with a diagnosed pigmentation disorder or anyone who has questions about white or light patches on their skin.
"I'm doing continuing research in pigmentation disorders,'' Dr. Durham-Pierre said. "The research is important because vitiglio and albinism in all its myriad of forms cause problems for students and at work.'' She explained that young people may be uncomfortable at school because of the condition or may be ostracised.
She is the daughter of Julia and Coolidge Durham and sister of local teacher Shangri-La Durham-Thompson.
She is a graduate of Berkeley Institute, the Sixth Form Centre and Howard University where she earned a Master's degree in microbiology and a Doctorate in microbiology and immunology.
The lecture begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the North Hall Lecture Theatre.
