A pedestrian was taken to hospital after she was struck by a car as she crossed a road.

The 37-year-old Devonshire woman sustained a shoulder injury in the incident, which occurred on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke near the junction with Woodbourne Avenue, at around 2pm on Thursday.
