LOS ANGELES (Bloomberg) - Toyota Motor Corp. said it's recalling 34,400 Lexus GS and IS luxury sedans to fix fuel pipes that can crack and potentially allow gasoline to leak.

The recall affects 2006-model GS 300 and IS 250 cars, Toyota's Torrance, California-based US sales unit said today in an e-mailed statement. Lexus, the top-selling US luxury brand, said it has received no reports of accidents related to the flaw.

The Toyota City, Japan-based automaker is expanding a similar campaign announced earlier yesterday covering 215,020 vehicles in its home market.

Notification of US owners will start in early December, the company said.
