Trott, is confident he will be offered a contract with English Third Division club Walsall once the matter of Kyle Lightbourne's work permit has been resolved.

The time frame on Wade's airline ticket was about to expire, forcing him to return to Bermuda on Tuesday. But the indications are the club was impressed with what they saw of Wade during his trial period and will make him an offer once Lightbourne's application has been resolved.

"Once Kyle's work permit is gone through and approved a formal offer is expected to be made to him (Wade),'' said Trott yesterday. "They want to get Kyle's out of the way first. That's the impression he (Wade) gave me.'' Lightbourne has been made an offer but cannot sign until his work permit is renewed.
