The Somers Isles' contract expired and the current vessel will be replaced by another bearing the same name.

The Celebrity Cruises Zenith arrived to the Island from New York on Monday morning, docking in Hamilton. She will switch to St. George's today. The ship is carrying 1,621 passengers and heads back to New York tomorrow afternoon.

The Norwegian Majesty arrived at Ordinance Island in St. George's and sailed to Hamilton late Monday afternoon. She was carrying 1,424 passengers and is scheduled to leave for Boston tomorrow.

The Norwegian Crown also sailed into Island Monday, docking at Penno's Wharf in St. George's before moving to Hamilton yesterday morning. She is carrying 1,136 passengers and will leave the Island for New York tomorrow afternoon.

Celebrity's Horizon arrived to the Island yesterday morning and berthed at Kings' Wharf in Dockyard. The ship is carrying 1,635 passengers. She is expected to remain in Dockyard until she switches to St. George's tomorrow.

She will make her return voyage to New York on Friday.

Also Royal Caribbean cruise liner, Nordic Empress berthed at Penno's Wharf in St. George's yesterday morning. The ship is carrying 1,785 passengers. This is believed to be the largest number of passengers on a cruise to the Island so far this season. She is expected to leave for New York on Friday.

Meyer's Bermuda Islander . Is expected to arrive tomorrow. She will be carrying 117 containers with 19 refrigerated containers.

Container Ship Management's Oleander arrived to the Island on Sunday. She was carrying 145 dry containers, 36 refrigerated containers, two road trailer carrying power station equipment, five road trailer carrying construction material, two cars, one truck, one mobile crane, one boat and one double decker bus. Oleander set sail yesterday morning heading back to New Jersey.

The bulk freighter Nordanav arrived to Island on Saturday laden with a load of gravel. After unloading its cargo at Penno's Wharf in St. George's, the ship -- which sailed from Novia Scotia -- remained for the night and then left on Monday morning bound for the UK.

Also the Italian flagged Dana Futura stopped off to the Island on Sunday. The ship was sailing from Texas and is also bound for the UK. It stopped to unload a single container. The ship docked in Hamilton and left the Island an hour later.
