presented a plaque to the school to celebrate their first ever reunion.

The reunion was held last year, but the Ex-scholars Reunion Committee decided to hand over the plaque during Heritage Month.

They noted the event was held "for the purpose of honouring one another while we are still alive.'' Guest speaker was the present school principal Mr.

Llewellyn Smith.

Teachers and principals were honoured at the reunion. Past teachers present were Mrs. Margaret Manders (nee Sweeting), Mrs. Francis Hall (nee Philpott), Ms Minerva Swan, Mrs. Louella Douglas, Ms Gloria Cholmondeley and Mr. Alfred Carey. Also in attendance were Mrs. Edith Snaith, vice principal Mrs. Acnita Cross and President of the Parent Teachers Association, Mrs. Cheryl Lister.

The Committee has donated equipment to the school, bought with the help of the public and ex-scholars.
