Colts confident they can see off Wolves
FA Cup takes centre stage this weekend as the eight teams remaining vie for the four semi-final slots.
Defending champions Devonshire Colts have the toughest task of the four games as they lock horns with First Division side Wolves at Police Field.
Without their inspirational skipper Aljame Zuill to lead their attack, Colts can take some solace from the fact that they are defending their crown on home soil.
"We have to defend what is ours", said Zuill. "This is our Cup and whoever wants to win it must come through us.
"We won't take Wolves lightly as they have a good side, but if we come out as a team they won't beat us."
The striker also feels that the game will not define their season as a whole.
"This is a Cup game, so we have to approach it a bit differenly", Zuill said.
"We started off a bit slow early on but as long as the team comes together and doesn't rely on individuals we will be okay from now until the end of the campiagn."
This season's Cup specialists and league leaders PHC Zebras will fancy their chances against Commercial League side Key West Rangers.
Yet with the supposed quality difference between the two sides, Zebras know that Rangers have former Premier players in their ranks to pull off the upset.
"Key West have some quality players in their ranks who can produce some magic on the day", said PHC defender Omar Shakir.
"Most of them have a vast amount of experience and will be looking to upset us."
The stalwart also feels Zebras will dictate the match, with their opponents absorbing pressure.
"If I was a betting man, I'd say they'll try to absorb the pressure to minimise fatigue and look to catch us on the break. It's no secret that we play hard and fast so naturally we'll try to keep the game at a good pace and see if they're up for it."
Zebras, who are within touching distance of claiming a host of trophies, will not look past the next game the defender said.
"Of course we'll be upset to get knocked out at this stage", Shakir added. "However, the spirit in the camp is very positive and I don't think it would affect us too much.
"We haven't won trophies for a while so we're eager to add to the Martonmere."
Lobster Pot, who have knocked out Paget and Prospect on their amazing Cup run, will be looking to up the ante as they attempt to claim the prized scalp of Premier giants Dandy Town at St. John's Field.
Pot are already in the Commerical Cup finals, and are aiming to pull off the shock of the this seaon's Cup and move on in the Island's biggest cup tournament.
The remaining game of the round features Boulevard, who needed a replay to knock out St. George's, against Young Men's Social Club.
