Bermuda Aviation Services (BAS) boosted its share price by 45 cents (7.56 percent) to close at $6.40 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

BAS saw 2,550 shares change hands, as did Butterfield Bank, which traded 300 shares.

The Index, as a whole, inched up 4.08 points (0.12 percent) to 3,499.31, with 2,850 shares worth $18,545 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index climbed 7.43 points (0.91 percent) to 816.49.
