A total of 393 containers will land in Bermuda this week, but due to the recent prohibitive weather the Bermuda Islander will arrive late.
The cargo ship Oleander arrived in Bermuda on Monday carrying a total of 126 containers.
Of the 126 containers 89 were dry while the remaining 37 were refrigerated.
Also on board were 13 cars and four road trailers.
The Oleander sailed from Bermuda yesterday at 8.05 a.m.
The Somers Isles arrived at 8.30 a.m. from Fernandina Beach Florida yesterday.
On arrival she discharged 151 containers including four reefers, five boats and one truck. The Somers Isles will make her return voyage to Fernandina Beach today.
And the Bermuda Islander, is set to arrive this Friday from Salem New Jersey. The container ship normally arrives in Bermuda on Thursdays but has been delayed due to bad weather.
When she arrives she will discharge 106 containers including 26 reefers. She will sail back to New Jersey on Saturday February 20.
