DUBAI (Bloomberg) — Qatar Shipping Co. climbed the most in almost three months after the marine-freight company merging with Qatar Navigation raised its dividend and reported an increase in full-year profit.

The Doha-based company's shares jumped 9.7 percent, the biggest intraday gain since December 14.

"The dividend was above our market expectation," said Redwan Ahmed, a Dubai-based equities analyst at EFG-Hermes Holding SAE. "We see the dividend as a final payout to the shareholders of Qatar Shipping" before the merger.
