On May 15, Dorielle Shoné Battersbee-Hurdle graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and a minor in management.

Dorielle, a former student of Warwick Academy, graduated in 2004 from her Sixth Form programme, where she won the William Purvis Memorial scholarship.

Attending the ceremony in Halifax were her parents, Romelle Battersbee and Dorian Hurdle, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Dorielle will go on to pursue her certification in accounting while working at Ernst & Young Ltd. She will commence the ASCA programme in Halifax, which she hopes to have completed before she turns 23.

Dorielle has received a tremendous amount of support from numerous members of her family and friends and she wishes to take this time out to thank them..
