Three hurt in Blackwatch Pass collision
A woman is in intensive care after a motorcycle accident which left three people with head injuries at the weekend.
The incident happened in Blackwatch Pass, Pembroke, at 8 p.m. on Sunday, when a motorcycle heading north was in collision with an auxiliary cycle travelling in the opposite direction.
The 30-year-old driver of the motorcycle, from Pembroke, received head injuries and cuts to his left foot, while his passenger, a 29-year-old Pembroke woman, sustained head injuries. Her condition was last night described as "stable".
A 31-year-old woman from Smith's however, is in ICU following the accident. The woman was driving an auxiliary cycle and suffered head injuries and a fractured left wrist.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: "All of the injured parties were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The motorcycle and the auxiliary cycle were extensively damaged as a result. Inquiries into this incident are underway."

Police recruits on city patrols
Shoppers will get added protection this Christmas thanks to Bermuda Police Service recruits.
Trainee officers on Recruit Foundation Course 72 will patrol the streets of Hamilton in the shopping period leading up to Christmas.
The recruits will monitor the city with their supervisors until Christmas Eve.
Seven weekend accidents
There were seven road traffic accidents resulting in injury at the weekend.
Police received reports of another 12 damage-only collisions while four motorists were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
There were also nine reported burglaries and three vehicles stolen.
