won a partial scholarship to attend Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania.

Dill, who was invited for trials last summer with three other Bermudians -- Maria Smith, Maria Peterkin and Tomeka Talbot -- leaves Bermuda tomorrow and plans to major in Health and Physical Education.

Smith and Talbot, of Bermuda champions Telecom, and Peterkin, of Somerset Terminators, will also be attending Messiah, a Christian Education school with about 2,000 students.

The players were extended an invite by coach Mike Russ when Messiah won the first Women's Soccer Tournament here last year.

Eighteen-year-old Dill, daughter of former Bermuda and North Village forward Cal Dill, received special recognition after scoring five goals in eight games in a tournament.

Upon returning, Dill helped Rude Girls to a third-place finish in the league and, more importantly, a surprise triumph over Telecom in the FA Cup final.

The first duties of the Bermudian girls will be to compete in a pre-season camp to be held in the Harrisburg area.
