Island's U-21 hockey team unbeaten on tour
draw in the first three matches of their six-match tour of Vancouver, Canada.
In the opening game a week ago, on a new astroturf facility in downtown Vancouver, Bermuda beat a junior Vancouver team 1-0 with Ana Anton scoring Bermuda's only goal after 20 minutes.
Bermuda's defence, built around Danielle Skinner and Christanthi Bartley, allowed the Vancouver youngsters few chances with Samantha Adams also enjoying a fine game in midfield.
Last Friday, Bermuda were held to a scoreless draw by a Burnaby Summer Games team in a game in which neither team's attack was able to break through two solid defences.
On the weekend against the West Vancouver Junior XI, Bermuda threatened from the start and manufactured numerous chances throughout the game before Anton again sealed the win with the game's only goal five minutes into the second half.
Adams, Emily Black and Megan Spurling all had excellent chances to score only to have their shots hit the sideboards.
The Bermuda team play three more matches before returning home on Friday.
