The Department of Airport Operations is looking for photographs, advertising materials or memorabilia pertaining to aviation in Bermuda from the 1930s to
They are creating an exhibit to illustrate the history of Bermuda aviation, including UK and US military activity during the Second World War.

*** The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard is sponsoring Flowers in Watercolour, a workshop with Margaret Ellaway.
On September 3 and September 4 at the centre, Ms Ellaway will hold a studio-based workshop concentrating on capturing flowers in watercolour.
Ms Ellaway is an experienced watercolour teacher from England and floral painting is one of her favourite subjects.
The cost of the workshop is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Times: 10 a.m.-4.30 p.m.
Starting the week of September 15, for five weeks is Life Drawing -- The Basics with Roland Russell.
These sessions will cover life drawing from scratch for those who have either never tackled figure drawing before or are nervous of their skills.
This does not exclude experienced artists. Supply sheet available from The Arts Centre.
Costs are $75 for five sessions (7 p.m.- 9 p.m.) at the Bermuda Society of Arts at City Hall.

*** Masterworks director Tom Butterfield will be conducting tours at the Bermuda National Gallery on Tuesday and Wednesday at 10.30 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
