*** The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will host visiting artist Charles Reid for a watercolour workshop later this month.

The workshop will be for the benefit of local and visiting artists alike and will consist of a daily demonstration by Mr. Reid, following which everyone will be free to choose a spot and paint.

At the end of the day, where possible, the class will meet together for a critique session.

Covering a variety of subject matter including figure, floral and landscape, participants will be working out on location. Should the weather be unfavourable, the classes will move inside to the gallery at Dockyard.

All ability levels are welcomed but participants should be practising painters with a basic knowledge of watercolours.

Mr. Reid, who has written several books, suggests that his book `A Natural Way of Painting' would give students a head start.

Anyone interested in the April 19 to April 23 workshop must phone the Arts Centre to book a place, then complete a registration form and submit a $525 cheque.
