Insp. Carlton Adams, 43, was promoted to the rank of Detective Chief Inspector and Sgt. E. LeGay Farley, 44, was promoted to Det. Inspector.

Det. Chief Insp. Adams, a Bermudian, joined the force as a cadet in 1968. He has spent most of his 25 years in criminal investigation, where he will continue to work, Police said in a news release.

Married with one son, he has received four Police commendations and one from the Chief Justice.

Det. Insp. Farley, originally from Barbados, joined the Police in 1972. The recipient of two Police commendations, Det. Insp. Farley has also spent most of his career in CID where he will continue.
