Governor to preside over Queen's Birthday
Bermuda just in time to join the Island in celebrating her birthday.
This year's Queen's Birthday Parade will also be the first for Pamela Gordon as premier.
And William Frith will participate for the first time as Mayor of Hamilton.
The parade gets underway on Monday, June 16 by the flagpole on Front Street just after 10 a.m. and is expected to last about 40 minutes.
Highlights include the arrival of the Governor and the Royal Salute.
Bermuda Regiment with Band and Corps of drums, Bermuda Police Service, Bermuda Police Reserves, Bermuda Fire service, Bermuda Cadet Corps and the Bermuda Sea Cadet Corps will participate.
After the parade, a garden party is slated at Government House for invited guests. In the event of wet weather, a decision regarding the parade will be made at 9 a.m. and broadcast over the radio.

Planned articles will include stress on the job and how to deal with it and the role Bermuda plays on the so-called information superhighway.
CASH TAKEN FROM HOME CRM Cash taken from home Police are investigating a break-in on Scarrington Hill, Paget.
The break-in occurred early on Thursday morning while residents were sleeping in the house, Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said.
A wallet containing an undisclosed quantity of cash, credit cards and personal items was stolen.
SHOP WINDOW SMASHED CRM Shop window smashed Police are looking for the culprit who smashed the glass window of a Hamilton store.
"Total Home'' on Reid Street had a plate glass window smashed between Wednesday night or Thursday morning, Police reported yesterday.

THIEVES STEAL TRUCK CRM Thieves steal truck A truck was stolen from the Warwick Post Office yard, Police reported yesterday.
The green Nissan open truck went missing late Wednesday night, Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said.
