Gearing up for their first appearance at the world championships in a decade, Bermuda Table Tennis Association yesterday released their short list of players aiming for the trip to Manchester, England.

As expected, top-ranked Nick Frost heads the group but the surprise is former number one Dexter Smith, who has been in semi-retirment while concentraing on cricket.

In addition to their Tuesday night league duties, the 14 will train Thursdays and Saturdays in preparation for the April 22-May 6 tournament. From the squad, four men and -- likely -- one woman will be picked.
