Janine Scott (14) recorded a time of 25.76 in the girls' under-17 200 metres and followed with a time of 59.51 in the semi-final of the 400 metres.

Neither, however, was good enough for a medal.

Patrinia Swan clocked 58.93 in the 400 metre semi-finals but didn't place in the final. She also had a time of 2:26.18 in the 800 metres but failed to medal.

In the boys' under-20 division, Bermuda's Tariq Hewey ran the 100 metres in 11.3 seconds and the 200 metres in 23.3 seconds, but again neither effort was good enough to place him in the finals.

Gabriel Wilkinson recorded a personal best throw of 12.63 metres in the boys' under-17 shot and placed sixth while Kondwani Williams had a personal best time of 53.71 in the under-17 400 metres semi-final.
