Trojan coaches switch teams

dismal campaign for the club which saw them relegated from the First Division for the fist time ever -- have now joined new teams.

Josef Gooden and Dennis Brown will taking over at the helm of separate sides in the First and Second Divisions respectively -- surprising since the two have had long ties with the west end club as players and coaches. Gooden has just been confirmed as coach of Devonshire Cougars while Brown recently took over the vacancy at Wolves.

Gooden will be meeting with Cougars players at Stonington grounds on Sunday at 9 a.m. when they hold their first training session.

While Cougars and Wolves have sorted out their coaching problems, the Trojans have yet to confirm their coach for the season although Randy Horton's name has been connected with the club.

Sports chairman Colin Smith said yesterday that they had come to a decision but were still in discussion with the individual who they expect to name in the new future. "We know Dennis has joined Wolves, but there had only been talks about Gooden going to Cougars,'' was his only other comment.
