NimsTech delisted by BSX
delisted the company for failing to comply with disclosure requirements.
The BSX press release stated the company had not given enough information in its offering memorandum to allow investors to make an assessment of the "activities, assets and liabilities, financial position, management and prospects of the company and of its profits and losses and of the rights attaching to its common shares.
The Atlanta-based company manufactures and markets 3-D products according to the company's prospectus. The BSX started a review of the company after Miami-based Offshore Alert called into question the company's credentials in May.
An article in the newsletter claimed NimsTec bears "striking similarities'' to Nimslo, a company founded by Mr. Nims with a partner and "lost investors in the US, the UK and Bermuda tens of million of dollars over the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s with the same technology now owned by NimsTec.'' BANK STOKC REBOUNDS STK Bank stock rebounds The Bermuda Stock Exchange index gained 30.16 points to close yesterday at 1336.06 on the strength of a $1.50 gain in Bank of Bermuda stock.
The bank's share price closed at $28.50, almost rebounding from a $1.88 fall the previous trading day. Bank of Butterfield fell 13 cents to close at $14.13. TeleBermuda fell $1.50 to close at $7.50.
