Belco Holdings Ltd. continued its strong week of trading, finishing up by 40 cents (1.9 percent) at $21 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 919 shares throughout the course of the day.

Also up was Butterfield Bank, which saw its share price rise 10 cents (0.6 percent) to close at $17.10, with 46,500 shares changing hands.

Other significant traders were KeyTech Ltd. (60 shares), Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (40) and MediaHouse Ltd. - eight percent PFD (eight).

As a whole, the Index was up 23.34 points (0.49 percent) at 4,746.55, as 47,527 shares worth $815,520.25 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile increased 0.369 percent to finish at 1,153.60.
