Butterfield Bank dropped five cents (0.3 percent) to end a busy week's trading on $18.65 on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded a total of 950 shares throughout the day, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd. saw 26,700 shares change hands, but its share price remained unaffected at $14.95.

Overall, the Index finished down 7.99 points (0.16 percent) at 4,968.62, with 27,650 shares worth $415.992.25 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, bucked the trend, closing up three percent at 1,173.47.
