The crew of the MV Logos II and the Port Royal Parent Teacher Association have partnered to make a donation of $1,000 worth of books to the developing Port Royal Primary School library.

A special presentation to the school will be made today at 9 a.m. in the Port Royal Hall.

Logos II has been docked in Bermuda, on Front Street, for more than two weeks.

It is a UK-based Christian book vessel that travels the world spreading its message of help, hope and knowledge. It will leave Bermuda at 3 p.m. tomorrow, heading for the Bahamas then to the Caribbean.

Elsewhere, the cargo ship Oleander brought 165 dry containers to Bermuda over the weekend and 50 refrigerated ones. Additionally, its miscellaneous cargo included 40 cars, one boat on a trailer, one office trailer and ten road trailers.

It sailed from Bermuda at 4.30 p.m. on Monday.

Meanwhile, Southern Relentless, a surveying vessel was due to sail into the Island yesterday to St. George's at an unknown time and was expected to depart Bermuda some time today.

Tomorrow, making its weekly delivery, will be the Bermuda Islander which will be carrying 130 containers including 37 refrigerated ones. Also arriving tomorrow will be the fuel tanker Lucy PG which will deliver fuel to the Esso Oil Docks. However, she is expected to head back out within 24 hours.
