It was all one-way traffic for newly crowned Martonmere Cup champions Zebras who hardly broke a sweat against Commercial League rivals Vasco in the curtain raiser at St. John's Field.

Zebras took only 16 minutes to dismantle a Vasco team that started the match one man short as Corey Dowling hit the target to erase any hopes of an upset and send the visitors through to the next round of the FA Cup.

Keston Lewis doubled PHC's lead 10 minutes later before a Richard Correia own goal put the match well beyond Vasco's reach by the half.

But Zebras were not done just yet as the floodgates were opened in the second half with new acquistion Jeff Franklin leading the charge with a brace either side of youngster Casey Castle's 64th-minute goal.

Sub Kevin Lambe also got in on the scoring act, leaping off the bench to stretch Zebras' lead to seven before 'keeper Jay Smith added his name to the scoresheet from the penalty spot to complete Vasco's humiliation.
